Postural tachycardia syndrome frequently, or POTS, leads to a variety of symptoms, amongst right-sided rib pain. This pain is commonly felt on the side and may worsen when upright. While POTS itself isn't inherently impact the ribs, several factors play a role to this painful sensation. These factors often encompass spasms in the chest wall.
